November is important, but December dominates giving

With November upon us, significant nonprofit giving events will be dominating the donor landscape from Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day on November 16 to the global Giving Tuesday on November 28. But these important days of giving will never replace or exceed year-end donations. According Network For Good, almost 29% of all giving happens in December. And the last three days account for 11% of annual giving. Year-end giving is a deeply ingrained habit with donors. In fact, the average gift size for Giving Tuesday is $142 vs. $223 for December 31. Are you ready for your annual appeal campaign?
